The boys and I celebrated the great weather with a mini-shoot today. It cost me a few jelly beans, but I think it was well worth the price. Some of my new favorites:

This weekend I got had the pleasure to take a few maternity pictures of one of my closest friends along with another friend and photographer, Tiffany Brubaker. It was a pretty fun experience for at least two of us.

Ember’s little one will be entering the world very soon, and she is one lucky little girl to have such warm, enthusiastic, and ready parents waiting for her.

I’ve always wanted to do the belly to belly shot, and Drew was a willing participant, though I think he may have strained his belly muscles sticking it out like this!

Happy New Year! I am looking forward to an exciting 2010, both personally and photographically.

Over the next few months, I’ll be introducing some exciting new photo products to help your display your beautiful images. I’ve got lots of new ideas rumblings, and I can’t wait to meet lots of new babies, teens, and families!

I am also excited to introduce a new Eaglet this year. I’m expecting our third baby boy in May.

In the meantime, stay warm!

Thanks to all of my wonderful clients for making my first year a great one! I will be out of the office until the end of December. I wish you all warm holidays.

Last weekend, I met the T family in downtown Rochester for family portraits.

This beautiful family had great ideas, and a good attitude, which we needed for those cold outdoor shots!

I always have a tough time picking pictures for the sneak peeks, but thought this one of the girls was too adorable to NOT share. (Don’t worry, I got plenty of Miss B with a smile on her face too!) I think this is my favorite from a family session in a long time!

Once again, I had the hardest time limiting my sneak peeks. I know I have mentioned that I love shooting newborns. It isn’t just because they are warm little bundles of cute (though they are!)

I love the dynamic that a newborn brings to a family. It is a time of exhaustion and excitement and wonder. I was amazed by how comfortable and relaxed Max’s parents are. When I had my first, I was a nervous wreck!

I seem to have a knack for keeping newborns awake, but Max did give me a few sleepy shots. I hope he slept all night after his exciting day!

I am very happy to announce that I will be “out of the office” this week, enjoying Thanksgiving with my family. I will return any calls or e-mails Monday, November 30.

All orders placed by December 31, 2009 will enjoy 2009 prices. There will be some restructuring and print increases for 2010.
