Happy Halloween! It was a pretty quite holiday for us this year…first in many without any homemade costumes. We even went low-key on the pumpkins…only 3!
The orange one is Ben’s. He designed it and carved it completely himself. It is a football helmet, and he wrote “Green Bay” on it. I think his teacher is influencing his young mind. Lukie finger painted on his (white pumpkin on the left) and Sam painted and picked a face for his (white one on the right).

This guy asked for months to be Iron Man, then spent hours explaining why he couldn’t wear the mask. He was a little too hyper to sit for many pictures.

This guy felt very cool in his motocross racer costume. He also enjoyed helping hand out the candy this year. He made a sign for the bowl that said “Take some.” He later edited that to say “Take one.”

This guy was the world’s cutest elephant.

He was very sad to see his brother’s leave to trick or treat without him.

Until he discovered the wonder that is a peanut butter cup. He is a true believer.

Hope you all stayed safe and enjoyed your Halloween!

Happy Halloween!
Monday, October 31st, 2011A new hat ~ Kasson, MN child photographer
Monday, August 1st, 2011My oldest is growing like a weed this summer. He’s all long legs and big feet, with a face that definitely doesn’t have any baby left to it. When he fell in love with his new hat, I used it as an excuse to get a few new pictures. He was amazingly cooperative. Usually I have to beg him to smile, but this time I had to coax real smiles through the fake ones. The picture on the right is so Ben: thoughtful and quiet. He’s no doubt dreaming about dinosaurs. He wants to be a paleontologist, ya know.

Sammy, who wants to do everything brother does, whined to take pictures too. Since he and his “pack pack” and dinosaur hat have been inseparable, I thought it was a pretty good idea. That both boys independently grabbed nerf/squirt guns to pose with cracked me up. Yup, they are definitely boys.
