Jake + Lauren ~ Rochester, MN wedding photography

Thursday, September 22nd, 2011

On Saturday I was thrilled to be able to second shoot for my good friend and amazing photographer Tiffany Brubaker in La Crosse. I was so worried about the weather for an outdoor wedding in September that I carried my parka around all day! Luckily, I didn’t need it, and Jake and Lauren had an amazingly beautiful day. From getting ready through the reception, it was wonderful to see this sweet couple join with their closest friends and family. Now on to the HUGE photo share!

Phil + Jamie ~ Rochester, MN wedding photography

Wednesday, June 29th, 2011

Last weekend, I shot at Phil and Jamie’s La Crosse wedding for Tiffany Brubaker Photography. It was an awesome day in so many ways; just a few:
1) Tiff is a friend from college, so I love spending the day with her. She is also an AMAZING wedding photographer.
2) Phil and Jamie were so sweet together. It made me feel all mushy!
3) The kids at this wedding were ADORABLE. (You know I love me some cute kiddos.)

I found that narrowing down wedding shots is about 10 times harder than portrait sessions, so the web shares have to be 10 times larger. Makes sense, right?

Pam + Andy ~ Rochester, MN wedding photography

Thursday, June 23rd, 2011

Back in May, I had the opportunity to be a second shooter for the lovely Catharine of Bliss Photography for the wedding of Pam and Andy. They are not only gorgeous, but so nice and laid back…really, everyone involved was. They had a great timeline, with plenty of time to get ready, get a snack, get photos, and relax. It made for some fun and sweet moments.

The ceremony was traditional, yet very personal, which is sometimes a hard balance to strike. Yes, even I teared up!

It isn’t every bride that will put on a smile and rain boots for outdoor wedding pictures, but I’m so glad she did. These are the things that make photographers SQUEE!

Catharine, thanks so much for inviting me along. Pam and Andy, best wishes as you start your life together.
